Bio

Welcome to my bio page!

Just a few facts to give you a better idea of who I am…

Eventhough I was born in Newbury (Berkshire) some 50 years ago, my family moved to London while I was still a toddler. I lived in London for more than two decades and for a long time I could not imagine living anywhere else. But in 1990 my life took an unexpected turn and just one year later I found myself moving to Belgium.
A woman’s love will change your perspective… Now, that I have been married for almost 22 years.
I can look back and say that this was the best move I’ve made.
Ever since I have been a young boy, I had two things that interested me most: my passion for movies and my passion for drawing.

I always loved the old classic b&w movies from the 1940s and the 1950s and I guess they were the main reason why I chose charcoal for my drawings.
Originally drawing has only been a hobby of mine, nothing that I considered would help me pay the rent.
But some years ago friends of mine persuaded me to take on commissions. Through those commissions I had the chance to broaden my artistic horizon quite a bit as my clients confronted me with such a vast variety of different tastes and interests.
Some of that artwork can be seen on this website and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did (and still do) and maybe, just maybe… you will broaden my horizon even further.
